Adobe Reader, a software which is widely used and the most common problem everybody faces is the time it takes to launch itself, specially if you are low on RAM. There are many tools and plug-in that needs to start with the start of Adobe Reader. Even I was very frustrated with the speed of Adobe Reader 8. I came across with a software that actually help in increasing the speed of startup. Adobe Reader Speedup is a software that will speedup the process of Adobe Reader.This software is compatible with all the version of adobe reader.
This software significantly fastens the process by disabling most of the least required plug-in. Plug-in can be manually enabled and disabled easily. It gives you different options for the speed up mode that have different plug-in settings. I have testes it on V6, V7, and V8. The best effect could be seen on V7, it reduces the time on V6 and V8 as well, but the significant decrease in time is just too good then the others. I have gone back to V7, as it’s now faster then V8. I am ready to compromise on version, rather then in speed.
