Long time ago, I wrote some tips on buying a new Hard Drive. But there will be some data you need to burn them onto disk, like Mp3’s and some software’s. In case you are burning lot of disks, you might have faced a problem with remembering the data burned, and retrieving at the correct time. I used face lots of problems, and many times I used to burn same data onto multiple disks. I then started to manage an Excel file, so as to get all the data I have burned onto disks. A better solution to this was a use of software called CDSurf. This software allows you to search and locate files in your library without actually touching a single CD.

Firstly you need to Index data of all the disks you have, one by one. It might take time as you need to insert each and every single disk, but its good for future references.
After indexing is done, you can then use this software to search for all the data you have burned onto disks. The interface is nice and provides good handling.
If you are a person who burns number of disks, this is a great software where you can easily keep a track of your library.
